Kuik-e Hasan

Kuik-e Hasan (Persian: كوئيك حسن), also Romanized as Kū’īk-e Ḩasan; also known as Kūyakī Ḩesām, Kūyakī-ye Ḩasan, and Kūyekī-ye Ḩasam, was a village in Dasht-e Zahab Rural District of Dasht-e Zahab District, Sarpol-e Zahab County, Kermanshah province, Iran.

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 612 in 123 households, when it was in the Central District. The following census in 2011 counted 603 people in 141 households. The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 598 people in 152 households.

After the 2016 census, Dasht-e Zahab, Jeygaran, Posht Tang, and Sarqaleh Rural Districts were separated from the Central District in the establishment of Dasht-e Zahab District. In addition, the villages of Kuik-e Azizi Amin, Kuik-e Hasan, Kuik-e Mahmud, and Kuik-e Majid merged to form the village of Kuik, which became the capital of the new district.
