1860 Arkansas gubernatorial election

The 1860 Arkansas gubernatorial election was held on 6 August 1860, in order to elect the Governor of Arkansas. Independent Democratic candidate and former Associate Justice of the Arkansas Supreme Court Henry Massey Rector defeated Democratic nominee Richard H. Johnson.
