Jason Carter (politician)
Jason James Carter (born August 7, 1975) is an American lawyer and politician from the state of Georgia. Carter served in the Georgia State Senate from 2010 to 2015 and was the Democratic Party nominee for governor of Georgia in the 2014 election. Carter's paternal grandfather is former U.S. President and Georgia Governor Jimmy Carter.
