David I. Adelman

David Isaac Adelman (born May 24, 1964) is an American businessman, lawyer and diplomat. He was the United States Ambassador to the Republic of Singapore from April 2010 to September 2013. Adelman is the Managing Director and General Counsel of asset manager Krane Funds Advisors in New York. He is a Trustee of the National Committee on American Foreign Policy and a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. For more than a decade he has taught international relations as an adjunct professor at New York University.Adelman's official papers are part of the collection at the Richard B. Russell Library at the University of Georgia. In 2016, in recognition of his public service the State of Georgia dedicated a bridge as the Ambassador David Adelman Bridge on State Highway 42. Adelman is a member of the Advisory Council of the Israel-Asia Center.
