Ilham Ismayil oghlu Mehdiyev (Azerbaijani: İlham İsmayıl oğlu Mehdiyev; born 1965) is an Azerbaijani military officer, lieutenant general, and the deputy head of the Azerbaijani State Border Service (SBS). He was previously also the head of the Azerbaijani Coast Guard branch of the State Border Service (SBS). Mehdiyev commanded the Azerbaijani SBS during the 2020 Nagorno-Karabakh war and received the title of the Hero of the Patriotic War.
