Hyades (mythology)
In Greek mythology, the Hyades (/ˈhaɪ.ə.diːz/; Ancient Greek: Ὑάδες, romanized: Hyádes, popularly "rain-makers" or "the rainy ones"; from ὕω, hýō, 'I fall as rain', but probably from ὗς, hŷs, 'swine') are a sisterhood of nymphs that bring rain.
