Gortyna, Arcadia
Gortyna (Greek: Γόρτυνα), is a former municipality in Arcadia, Peloponnese, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Megalopoli, of which it is a municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 116.205 km2. Its seat was in the village Karytaina. The name of the municipality was taken from the ancient city of Gortys.
