Giyan
Giyan (Persian: گيان), also Romanized as Gīyān; also known as Kīān, Qīān, and Qayān, is a city in, and the capital of, Giyan District of Nahavand County, Hamadan province, Iran. It also serves as the administrative center for Giyan Rural District.

At the 2006 census, its population was 8,062 in 1,999 households. The following census in 2011 counted 8,102 people in 2,340 households. The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 8,186 people in 2,553 households.
