Bodinayakkanur railway station

Bodinayakkanur railway station is a railway station on Madurai–Bodinayakkanur branch line, serving the town of Bodinayakkanur in Tamil Nadu state, India. The gauge conversion has been finished, the station was commissioned to the Indian Railways and it opened on 15 June 2023.

The station is part of the Madurai railway division of the Southern Railway zone and connects the city to various parts of the state as well as the rest of the country.

It is one of the rare railway stations in India where all the historic Indian gauges – 610mm, 762mm, 1000mm – are used. Currently has been converted to 1676mm broad gauge.
