Bengal Sultanate–Delhi Sultanate War
The Ekdala War (Bengali: একডালার যুদ্ধ, romanized: Ekḍalar Juddhô) was a long-lasting conflict between the Bengal Sultanate and the Delhi Sultanate which took place in the islets of Ekdala in Bengal. The first invasion of the war resulted in the complete sack and occupation of Bengal capital Lakhnauti by the Delhi army and the Second invasion of The war resulted in a peace treaty where the Delhi sultanate of India eventually recognises the independence of Bengal.
