Battle of Shipu

The Battle of Shipu (Chinese: 石浦海戰) was a French naval victory during the Sino-French War (August 1884–April 1885). The battle took place on the night of 14 February 1885 in Shipu Bay (石浦灣), near Ningbo, China.
