Azman Hashim

Tan Sri Azman bin Hashim (born 17 July 1939), is a Malaysian investor who is one of the richest people in Malaysia and his net worth was estimated by Forbes to be US$600 million in 2006.

In this Malay name, there is no surname or family name. The name Hashim is a patronymic, and the person should be referred to by their given name, Azman. The word "bin" or "binti"/"binte" means 'son of' or 'daughter of', respectively.
