Asgarabad, Quchan
Asgarabad (Persian: عسگراباد, also Romanized as ‘Asgarābād) is a village in, and the capital of, Quchan Atiq Rural District of Quchan Atiq District, Quchan County, Razavi Khorasan province, Iran. The former capital of the rural district was the village of Shahr-e Kohneh, now a city.

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 702 in 193 households, when it was in the Central District. The following census in 2011 counted 692 people in 218 households. The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 272 people in 88 households.
In 2019, the rural district was separated from the district in the establishment of Quchan Atiq District, which was divided into two rural districts.
