Central District (Quchan County)
The Central District of Quchan County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان قوچان) is in Razavi Khorasan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Quchan.

At the National Census in 2006, its population was 169,575 in 42,844 households. The following census in 2011 counted 171,421 people in 48,588 households. At the latest census in 2016, the district had 166,868 inhabitants in 50,260 households.
After the census, the village of Mezerj was elevated to the status of a city.
In 2019, Dughayi Rural District and Quchan Atiq Rural District were separated from the Central District in the establishment of Abkuh District and Quchan Atiq District, respectively, each of which was divided into two rural districts.
