Asara District
Asara District (Persian: بخش آسارا) is in Karaj County, Alborz province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Asara.

At the 2006 census, its population (as a part of Tehran province) was 18,856, in 5,407 households. The census of 2016 counted 17,150 people in 5,977 households, by which time the county had separated from the province and become a part of recently established Alborz province.
