2017 Sacramento State Hornets football team

The 2017 Sacramento State Hornets football team represented California State University, Sacramento as a member of the Big Sky Conference during the 2017 NCAA Division I FCS football season. Led by fourth-year head coach Jody Sears, Sacramento State compiled an overall record of 7–4 with a mark of 6–2 in conference play, placing in a three-way tie for third in the Big Sky.
