1940 Washington University Bears football team

The 1940 Washington University Bears football teamrepresented Washington University in St. Louis as a member of the Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) during the 1940 college football season. Led by first-year head coach Frank Loebs, the Bears compiled an overall record of 3–6 with a mark of 1–3 in conference play, placing sixth in the MVC.
