Equator Monument

The Equator Monument (Indonesian: Tugu Khatulistiwa) is located on the equator in Pontianak, Indonesia. It marks the division between the northern and southern hemispheres. The monument was built along the Kapuas River, but then moved to the more strategic current location along the Tanjungpura Road.
