Harlock: Space Pirate (Japanese: 宇宙海賊キャプテンハーロック, Hepburn: Uchū Kaizoku Kyaputen Hārokku, released as Space Pirate Captain Harlock in Japan) is a 2013 Japanese 3D CG anime science fiction film directed by Shinji Aramaki. It is the most expensive Japanese CG anime film of all time, with a production budget of ¥3 billion ($30 million) and was a box-office bomb, having grossed only $19 million out of its $30 million budget.
