Dick Clark (Iowa politician)

Richard Clarence "Dick" Clark (September 14, 1928 – September 20, 2023) was an American politician from the U.S. state of Iowa who served as a member of the United States Senate from 1973 to 1979. He was a member of the Democratic Party. After he left the United States Senate, Clark was known for a major role in helping refugees of the Vietnam War.
