al-Kulayni
Muhammad ibn Ya'qub al-Kulayni (Arabic: مُحَمَّد ٱبْن يَعْقُوب ٱلْكُلَيْنِيّ, romanized: Muḥammad ibn Yaʿqūb al-Kulaynī; c. 864–941) was a Shia Islamic scholar who authored the al-Kafi, the first of the Four Books of Shia Islam. He is considered an important hadith collector by the Shias.
