Glasser, David Oyelowo, Jessica Oyelowo, David Permut, Christina Alexandra Voros, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari, and David Hutkin. It is based on the life of the first African American Deputy U.S. Marshal west of the Mississippi River, Bass Reeves.

The series premiered on Paramount+ on November 5, 2023, with back-to-back episodes.
