Laurence A. Abercrombie
Laurence Allen Abercrombie (11 Oct 1897 – 3 May 1973) was a decorated commander during World War II who reached the rank of Rear Admiral in the United States Navy. Admiral Abercrombie was thrice awarded the Navy Cross, the United States military's second-highest decoration awarded for valor in combat.
