Larim

Larim (Persian: لاريم), also Romanized as Lārīm, is a village in, and the capital of, Larim District, Juybar County, Mazandaran province, Iran.

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 4,768 in 1,243 households, when it was in the former Larim Rural District of Gil Khuran District. The following census in 2011 counted 4,842 people in 1,464 households. The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 5,300 people in 1,797 households; it was the largest village in, and the capital of, its rural district.

In 2023, Larim Rural District was elevated to the status of Larim District and divided into Larim-e Jonubi and Larim-e Shomali Rural Districts.
