Lakan, Gilan
Lakan (Persian: لاكان), also Romanized as Lākān; also known as Sīmbar-e Lākān, is a village in, and the capital of, Lakan Rural District of the Central District of Rasht County, Gilan province, Iran.

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 5,314 in 1,463 households. The following census in 2011 counted 302 people in 89 households. The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 284 people in 107 households.
