In Icelandic folklore, the Lagarfljótsormur (Icelandic pronunciation: [ˈlaːɣarˌfljoutsˌɔrmʏr̥]) or Lagarfljót worm is a lake monster purported to live in Lagarfljót, a lake by the town of Egilsstaðir.
