Kyungpook National University

Kyungpook National University (경북대학교, abbreviated as KNU or Kyungdae, 경대) is one of ten Flagship Korean National Universities representing Gyeongbuk Province in South Korea. As a comprehensive research university, KNU holds a reputation as one of the top national universities in Korea. With its ambitious goal and dedicated efforts toward becoming a global university, KNU has earned recognition as an 'Excellent Accredited University' in the 2023 International Education Quality Assurance System (IEQAS) evaluation, conducted by the Korean Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Justice. Out of the 134 universities accredited by IEQAS, only 18 were designated as 'Excellent Accredited Universities', and KNU is proud to be among them.
