Among her acting career, she played the lead role as Gabby Duran in the television series Gabby Duran & the Unsittables (2019–2021), and a recurring role as Dani in the fourth season of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series (2023). Cantrall will also play the lead role as Red in the upcoming Descendants spin-off film Descendants: The Rise of Red (2024). She also played a main voice role as Savannah in the animated film Ron's Gone Wrong (2021).
As a singer, she has recorded several singles, with her first extended play being released in 2023.
