Kwena Maphaka was born on 8 April 2006 in Johannesburg, South Africa. He is primarily a left-arm medium fast bowler who also bats left-handed. His full name is Kwena Tshegofatso Maphaka. This South African player played for the South African team in the Under-19 World Cup. Kwena Maphaka made his debut with Mumbai Indians team in IPL 2024. His debut match was not that special for Quena, he was badly hit by the Sunrisers Hyderabad team for sixes and fours.
