Kun'yomi
Kun'yomi (訓読み, [kɯɰ̃jomi], lit. "meaning reading"), is a reading based on the pronunciation of a native Japanese word, or yamato kotoba, that closely approximated the meaning of the corresponding Chinese character when it was introduced.
