Kosikhinsky District

Kosikhinsky District (Russian: Коси́хинский райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the fifty-nine in Altai Krai, Russia. It is located in the northeast of the krai. The area of the district is 1,877 square kilometers (725 sq mi). Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Kosikha. Population: 17,927(2010 Census); 20,494(2002 Census); 21,863(1989 Census). The population of the administrative center accounts for 29.2% of the district's total population.
