Korosten
Korosten (Ukrainian: Ко́ростень, pronounced [ˈkɔrostenʲ] ; historically also Iskorosten ⓘІскоростень) is a historic city and a large transport hub in the Zhytomyr Oblast (province) of northern Ukraine. It is located on the Uzh River. Korosten serves as the administrative center of the Korosten Raion (district) . As of January 2022 Korosten's population was approximately 61,496.
