Konyshyovsky District
Konyshyovsky District (Russian: Конышёвский райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the twenty-eight in Kursk Oblast, Russia. It is located in the northwestern central part of the oblast. The area of the district is 1,135 square kilometers (438 sq mi). Its administrative center is the urban locality (a work settlement) of Konyshyovka. Population: 8,425 (2021 Census); 10,594 (2010 Census); 15,155 (2002 Census); 19,234 (1989 Census). The population of Konyshyovka accounts for 42.7% of the district's total population.
