Kolyai Rural District

Kolyai Rural District (Persian: دهستان كليائي) is in Pirsalman District of Asadabad County, Hamadan province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Tavilan-e Sofla. The rural district is populated by Kurds.

At the National Census of 2006, its population (as a part of the Central District) was 3,909 in 871 households. There were 3,354 inhabitants in 914 households at the following census of 2011, by which time the rural district had been separated from the district in the establishment of Pirsalman District. At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 3,028 in 950 households. The most populous of its 14 villages was Tavilan-e Sofla, with 927 people.
