Knyszyn
Knyszyn [ˈknɨʂɨn] (Belarusian: Кнышин, Yiddish: קנישין, romanized: Knishin, Lithuanian: Knišinas) is a town in north-eastern Poland, 26 kilometres (16 miles) northwest of Białystok. It is situated in the Podlaskie Voivodeship (since 1999), and was formerly in the Białystok Voivodeship (1975-1998). It is located within the historic region of Podlachia.
