Kleanthis Maropoulos
Kleanthis Maropoulos (Greek: Κλεάνθης Μαρόπουλος; 1919 – 3 January 1991) was a Greek footballer who played as a striker for AEK Athens. He was a star footballer during the 1930s and 1940s and arguably the greatest Greek player of his generation. He was affectionately known as the "Blonde Eagle of AEK" (Greek: "Ξανθός Αετός της ΑΕΚ").
