Khwahan, Afghanistan
Khwahan (Persian: خواهان; Tajik: Хоҳон) is a town (and a fort) and the capital of Khwahan District, in Badakhshan Province in north-eastern Afghanistan. It is located on the left bank of the Panj River, subregions of Darwaz.
