Khoshk Rud, Babolsar

Khoshk Rud (Persian: خشك رود), also Romanized as Khoshk Rūd; also known as Khoshkeh Rūd, is a village in, and the capital of, Khoshk Rud Rural District of Rudbast District, Babolsar County, Mazandaran province, Iran.

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 1,450 in 368 households. The following census in 2011 counted 1,602 people in 508 households. The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,572 people in 522 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.
