Khatayan, Qazvin
Khatayan (Persian: خطايان), also Romanized as Khaţāyān, is a village in, and the capital of, Basharyat-e Sharqi Rural District of Basharyat District, Abyek County, Qazvin province, Iran.

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 901 in 240 households. The following census in 2011 counted 884 people in 272 households. The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 802 people in 270 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.
