Kharaji, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari
Kharaji (Persian: خراجي, also Romanized as Kharājī and Kherāji; also known as Khāriji) is a village in, and the capital of, Kiar-e Gharbi Rural District of the Central District of Kiar County, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province, Iran. The village is populated by Lurs.

At the 2006 census, its population was 3,078 in 772 households, when it was in the former Kiar District of Shahrekord County. The following census in 2011 counted 3,113 people in 964 households, by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Kiar County. The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 2,880 people in 947 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.
