Khankhel Swati

Khan Khel Swati is a sub-section in various sections of all three branches of Swati tribe.

Not to be confused with Khan Khel (Yousafzai).

Following are the sections of the Swati tribe having the Khankhel subsection:

  1. Alisheri (branch: Mitravi)
  2. Arghushal (branch: Gibari)
  3. Malkal (branch: Gibari)
  4. Panjghol (branch: Gibari)
  5. Iznali (branch: Gibari)
  6. Jehangiri (branch: Gibari)
  7. Begal (branch: Mitravi)
  8. Khankhel (Quraysh): This family claims to be of Quraish origin and was merged into tribal structure of Swati tribe during 18th century.
