Khanafereh District
Khanafereh District (Persian: بخش خنافره) is in Shadegan County, Khuzestan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Khanafereh.

After the 2006 National Census, Khanafereh Rural District was separated from the Central District in the establishment of Khanafereh District, which was divided into two rural districts.
The census in 2011 counted 26,133 people in 5,861 households. At the latest census in 2016, the district had 24,733 inhabitants in 6,368 households.
