Kevin Young (basketball, born 1981)
Kevin Young (born November 17, 1981) is an American basketball coach and former player who is head coach of the Brigham Young University (BYU) Cougars men’s basketball team. Prior to joining the Cougars, he was an associate head coach with the Phoenix Suns and an assistant coach with the Philadelphia 76ers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Young’s first head coaching job was in Ireland's Super League with the Shamrock Rovers Hoops. He later served as head coach for six seasons in the NBA Development League (now known as the NBA G League) with the Utah Flash, Iowa Energy, and Delaware 87ers. At the college level, Young was an assistant coach at Oxford College and Utah Valley State College (UVSC).
