Keszthely culture
The Keszthely culture was a mixed Germanic community (later Avar) Christian enclave located in present-day Hungary, from the 6th (AD 568) century until the first half of the 7th century, in the northern part of Lake Balaton, in and around Keszthely and it's 30 km area. The culture had certainly disappeared by the 7th century.
The population of the culture were craftsmen abducted or invited there by the Avars, in the middle of the 6th century, the settlers, or slaves came from the Balkans, Dalmatia, the eastern Alpine region and the Germanic lands.
