Kaskazini A District
Kaskazini A District (Wilaya ya Kaskazini A in Swahili) is one of two administrative districts of Unguja North Region in Tanzania. The district covers an area of 229.6 km2 (88.6 sq mi). The district is comparable in size to the land area of Cook Islands. The district is bordered to the north on three sides by the Indian Ocean and to the south by Kaskazini B District. The district seat (capital) is the small town of Kivunge. According to the 2022 census, the district has a total population of 157,369.
