Karand (Persian: كرند, also Romanized as Kerand) is a village in Lajran Rural District of the Central District of Garmsar County, Semnan province, Iran.

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 777 in 205 households. The following census in 2011 counted 1,104 people in 322 households. The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,273 people in 386 households; it was the most populous village in its rural district.
