Karaginsky District
Karaginsky District (Russian: Караги́нский райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion) of Koryak Okrug of Kamchatka Krai, Russia, one of the eleven in the krai. It is located in the northern central part of the krai. The area of the district is 40,641 square kilometers (15,692 sq mi). Its administrative center is the urban locality (a settlement) of Ossora. Population: 4,076 (2010 Census); 5,656 (2002 Census); 8,777 (1989 Census). The population of Ossora accounts for 52.3% of the district's total population.
