Kalyani Expressway
Kalyani Expressway is a 40-kilometre-long (25 mi), 6 laned, tolled road which connects Belghoria Expressway with Kalyani. The road starts from Nimta and ends in Kalyani of Kolkata Metro Area. The road is maintained and controlled by Kolkata Metropolitan Development Authority (KMDA). Currently it is being converted to 8 lane road till Muragacha and 6 lane from Muragacha to Kalyani by the KMDA. The road is also being linked to Belghoria Expressway by an elevated corridor, land acquisition is complete and construction is going on in full swing.
