Kalashtar, Iran

Kalashtar (Persian: كلشتر), also Romanized as Kaleshtar, Keleshtar, and Kolashtar; also known as Kalishtar, is a village in, and former capital of, Kalashtar Rural District of the Central District of Rudbar County, Gilan province, Iran. The capital has been transferred to the village of Jamalabad-e Kuseh.

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 1,272 in 409 households. The following census in 2011 counted 1,314 people in 438 households. The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 32 people in 11 households.
