Kalarsky District
Kalarsky District (Russian: Каларский район) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the thirty-one in Zabaykalsky Krai, Russia. It is located in the north of the krai, and borders with Tungokochensky District in the south. The area of the district is 56,800 square kilometers (21,900 sq mi). Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Chara. Population: 9,051 (2010 Census); 9,785 (2002 Census); 20,942 (1989 Census). The population of Chara accounts for 21.0% of the district's total population.
